Cruising in Chestertown

Chestertown had an exciting guest  this week. The stunning 450 ft, 175 passenger American Constitution by American Cruise Lines. As part of an 11 day journey through the Chesapeake Bay, the ship travels into Chestertown to dine, shop and explore. Passengers were welcome to wander though town, partake in historical excursions or learn about some of our resident local wildlife.

The ship also makes port in neighboring harbors at Annapolis and St. Michaels.

It was exciting to see this beautiful ship's maiden voyage up the Chester River. We love living here and hope everyone who visited, albeit only for a short while, was charmed by Chestertown.  We can't wait to see her docked on our shores in the upcoming months.
